Haven't been on the site for some time now.
Wanted to check in to let you know I am still ticking
and thinking of the community often.
Once again, my apologies for the delay in writing.
My surgery was exactly one year ago on May 4th.
( second valve surgery with valve replacement of first valve replacement, plus cabg graft to clear blockage while in to replace valve.)
The lack of writing is due to months of recovery with many changes unexpected. At time of surgery I was also gifted with pacemaker and medications that have been difficult to manuver!
My med Metoprolol has been a constant source of
Problems and see my cardiologist on May 23rd. to discuss changes. Anyone want to weigh in on this discussion. I know I'm not alone on this problem!
I am still at home here in sunny California, still trying to get healthier than I have been while recovering from this last surgery..I think I am finally seeing a few
Healthy changes pushing forward.
I believe being older and not as active as I was first go round made this surgery a little more difficult. Llet this be a lesson to all readying for surgery to do your best to keep active and eat healthy before your big day and carry your healthy attitude with you that everything will be done possible to get you through things as well as planned. Your Surgeon and their teammates are going to get you through your surgery and there are many on the other side waiting to help you meet your recovery needs, with great CARE!
So best of luck to all headed into surgery. Have a great recovery. Love to all my buddies in the community who are always deeply embedded in my mended heart.Love, Terrie,

has been difficult on this drug as I thought I've been imagining the side effects...

This I will take your sweet energy and lift up to join in this beautiful day! When were you in California?
Will write you more soon! So good to read you!
